Saniflo Microswitch has two variations depending on the pump it is installed in.
The XGG switch has an 8 amp rating and is fitted in the Saniflo and Sanitop units
The XGK switch has a xx amp and is fitted in the SaniPro, SaniPlus and Sanislim units.
The saniflo microswitch is protected by and activated by the movement in the rubber Membrane.
It is essential that at least annual cleaning / servicing / descaling of the pump is perfomed so that the membrane does not accumulate hard deposits of scale preventing the pump from switching on appropriately.
Inspection of the saniflo microswitch is an important service and preventative measure as a failed microswitch can sither cause a flood or a motor burnout.
